Healthier Devil’s Food Cupcakes

Fast, easy, and chocolate?  Absolutely!  This recipe was a winner for my daughter’s 3-yr birthday party–all the kids gobbled them up.  The cupcakes are incredibly moist and delicious and you can’t taste the pumpkin.  Although it’s not exactly healthy or whole foods due to the box cake mix, it is definitely healthier than the oil and egg version!

Healthier Devil’s Food Cupcakes

1 box Devil’s Food cake mix
2 cups pure pumpkin pack
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce

Mix ingredients well by hand or use hand mixer.  Follow box instructions for baking (mine baked at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes).  Yields 18 cupcakes.
